Happy Birthday Carter! We made this Volcano / Dino themed cake for Carter's Party held at the NC Science Museum located in Downtown Raleigh. The bottom tier was Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Mousse. Looked and tasted just like a fudge round....a personal favorite! Client said it was addictive! The volcano was sculpted down from lemon cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream! The event was planned and hosted by Parties By Bash!

We did this Surprise Grooms Cake for an awesome client, Melissa Blinson! She surprised her soon to be Husband with this giant NC State Football Wolf during their rehearsal dinner at Cafe Luna. Congrats to you two! Hope we get to work with these two again in the near future, it was quite a pleasure!

Privette's Antique Tool Box

This Antique Tool Box was a blast! We made this for cake for an 88th Birthday Party Hosted by the Privette's. What an honor to make a cake for such a special event! Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream, Rice Cereal and fondant tools, Newspaper ad, fully edible, printed on an icing sheet using food coloring! All woodgrain made from fondant and airbrushed. Again, thank you to the Privette's for such a privalege!

American Retail Bakery Expo 2009

Christin's Cakes just arrived back from the American Retail Bakery Expo 2009 in Charlotte, NC! Had a blast, and came back with awesome new tips and products. Cant Wait to put them to use. Wow such talent under one roof, cant wait for our next expo! We competed in a sculpted race car cake competition in which we received a gold medal for our efforts! Thanks for all the support!
